Building The Clever City
The technology behind both the Smart City and the Internet of Things has huge potential to improve people’s lives. It will only do this if we stop talking about technology, trends and buzzwords and start talking about people. Three case studies will illustrate how connected products can be created to solve specific issues faced by people living in cities. These have informed a set of principles for The Clever City, distinct from the Smart City in its bottom-up user focused and data minimising approach.
