(INT.) The idea behind this Streaming panel is to get around a string of topics and issues regarding this rather new and very important platform for music today. Especially with the backdrop of Scandinavia now being the leading streaming market in world, we will try to get behind the experiences, the challenges, the upsides, and the downsides for the music industry today.

Lasse Lindholm: Head of Communications in IFPI, presents a historical review of the music industry from the 1940’s and until now, from entirely physical to (almost) entirely digital distribution, in his presentation “Streaming – and the tranformation of the Danish recording industry”.

Morten Hjort – Head Of Innovation | Digital LABS | Universal Music Denmark – presents “Music Marketing in a streaming reality”, describing some of the major changes streaming has caused in the music industry, giving insights into the challenges of the past decade, as well as the reality we are faced with now.
