STREAMING, BRANDING AND MUSIC SUPERVISION
In collaboration with our partners Promus, Filmby Aarhus & Headstart Fashion we are going to bring together music industry representatives from Denmark and abroad in a networking area at Radisson BLU.

For two days there will be a complete conference and seminar programme which will address topical themes in the fields of streaming, branding, and music supervision.

On Friday we are going to start out with the, by now, classical speed meeting session “Meet the Music Supervisors”, where Danish and international music industry people can get together with a strong panel of music supervisors from the USA, the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Denmark.

Meet people like

  • Pascal Mayer (Noodles, Paris)
  • Mark Allen (ThinkSynchMusic, London)
  • Natalie Cervelli (SONY-ATV, Los Angeles)
  • Nis Bøgvad (Copenhagen Film Music)
  • Rebecca Reinks (E!Entertainment/NBC-Universal, Los Angeles)
  • Ryadh Drebinka (Sizzer, Amsterdam)

Later that day the many bands in the festival line up will get the opportunity to talk to Danish music industry representatives from record companies, booking agencies, and managements at intensive speed meetings.

This session is called “Meet the Talent”. Among the music industry people you can meet are:

  • Sarah Sølvsteen (SKANDINAVIAN)
  • Jesper Kemp (Beatbox Booking)
  • Jesper Reginal (Crunchy Frog)
  • Thomas Børresen (Soulcamp)
  • Mads Kjærgaard (SONY Music)
  • Christian Møller (Universal Music)

Bands & Brands: the wealth of new opportunities to work together across music and brands and the accumulated experience so far in this field will be discussed at a concentrated seminar including four or five cases and presentations. The session will be launched by a keynote entitled “The Value Change” by Jack Horner  (ECD & Founder/Frukt, London).

New Business Models in Pioneer Markets Saturday offers a large scale seminar on streaming, which has gradually taken over most of the Scandinavian music market, and which may be considered the most important pioneer market in the world. A lot of things seem to indicate that we have managed to make these new business models work. This seminar will address the various aspects of this new reality in the music business.

Kick-off is a presentation from international experts, and after this we will put a spotlight on the Scandinavian market and the accumulated experience in three fields with themes such a artist development, digital marketing, agreements, royalty and transparency. All of it will be presented by major Scandinavian players in the specific field. The challenges that the new streaming economy poses for the musicians, songwriters, and other music business players will be discussed in a panel consisting of Crispin Hun (Featured Artist Coalition, London), Helienne Lindvall (The Guardian, London), and Jake Beaumont-Nesbitt (IMMF, London).

Streaming and digital distribution also makes room for new kinds of companies. Therefore “Upstream and Counterstream” will take a look at some of these new, successful companies. Johan Ekelund (co-founder Kobalt Music, Stockholm) and Anne Bursacker (Tiger Music, Copenhagen) will drop by.

More panel members and speed meeting participants will be announced over the next weeks and months.
