Martin Brynskov is Associate Professor in Interaction Technologies at Aarhus University and works with the digital fabric of life; the stuff that connects people. Sometimes it is called technology, media, or materials. And the boundaries between them, the competences needed to understand and use them, are blurred. Martin works at the interface: smart cities, mobile media, media architecture and digital materials.
Martin is also chair of Connected Smart Cities, research director of AU Smart Cities, director of Digital De-sign Lab, coordinator of the Danish Smart City Network, coordinator of OrganiCity, co-founder of Smart Aarhus and research fellow at Participatory IT Centre and CAVI.
At this year’s SPOT Interactive conference Martin will be showcasing Smart Cities and illustrate how interaction between city and citizens could take place and which platforms could be potential according to the content. He will also point out areas in our society where creative digital industries can add value.
